Shoe Crush Tuesday: Solange Suede Classic Squares Women's Sneakers

It wouldn't be shoe crush Tuesday without a little drool. And we have to admit that we are drooling over the freshly released Puma and Solange Knowles (Saint Heron) collaboration.

Dubbed "Word To The Woman", Solange's third collection of footwear is meant to "celebrate females who innovate and redefine roles in all walks of life." First of, we are all about that. To add icing on the cake, Ms. Knowles, Art Director and Creative Consultant of Puma, compiled a series of images featuring 14 successful women from different backgrounds and professions in artistically dreamy styles. Video interviews will be released later.

We are totally sneaker-crushing on their monochrome suede design - making their styling options endless and the freedom to let our fashionable imagination run wild simply limitless! Forget yoga pants. Denim who?! Instead pair them with a midi dress/skirt or culottes for a sporty chic look! Truly, what is not to love!

Shoe Crush Tuesday: Dee Keller Penny (White Leather) Pumps

Summer sales have hit the racks and shelves practically everywhere. And we are not mad. At. All. Right now is not only a great time to get our hands on pieces we've been eyeing all season long; it's also the best time to stock up on clothes and accessories that will transition well into Fall.

Yikes. We know what you're thinking, "It's still summer time and sandals are de rigueur!" We wholeheartedly agree with you, but trust us when we say it's never too early to say the "F" word and shop accordingly and intentionally. For style sake.

Today's shoe crush embodies that timeless feel, and originates from Dee Keller, a women's shoe designer based in Baton Rouge, L.A. Her collection "weaves together European design with a modern attitude and family traditions. Crafted from the finest Italian materials and inspired by American fashion icons, each of Dee’s models has a unique personality, a contemporary feel, and a nod to a vintage past." Say no more - we're fans!

Wear these black and white pumps with neutrals or your favorite denim and make them your statement piece,  or compliment their edginess with an equally bold printed dress for maximum impact.

Shoe Crush Tuesday: Loza Maléombho Sandals

If you're looking for a unique pair of sandals that will add spunk to your summer wardrobe, these are it! Paired with a pair of denim shorts, floaty summer dress, or playful romper, the Zebra sandals are one of the many perfect ways to make a statement this season.

If you're a petite like me and wondering if these will be a good fit, there is also the Maracana sandals (which is a shorter version of the Zebra sandals and stops right below the knee).

Handmade in Côte d'Ivoire, they can be shipped internationally with an approximate fifteen day wait. Find the Zebra sandals here and the Maracana sandals here.

What I love most about the shoes is its designer, Loza Maléombho!

"Born in Brazil and raised between Côte d’Ivoire and the United States, she was designing since 13 and graduated in 2006 from the University of the Arts of Philadelphia with a BA of Fine Arts in Animation...Established in New York City in 2009 and relocated to Côte d’Ivoire since 2012 where its production takes place, the brand is best described as a fusion between traditional cultures/ sub-cultures and contemporary fashion."

There is authenticity in Maléombho 's craft, as well as a high level of social consciousness and impact as she employs the talent within and aims to promote African fashion. "By producing in Côte d’Ivoire, Loza’s vision is to empower women with a small manufacturing workshop that produces the collection and hires young women from unfavorable backgrounds. She also works closely with local artisans on featured products such as Indigo dye fabric, jewelry, shoes and accessories."

Seriously the type of stylish sandals I will totally invest in!
